3. A hydraulic pump, which creates a vacuum at the pump inlet. The pump uses pressure to deliver the hydraulic fluid from its container to the pump. It also sends the fluid to the outlet of the pump then into the hydraulic machine.
4. The motor, which is the unit that provides the pump with power.
5. Pressure supply lines supply the pressurised fluid to the pump.
6. Pressure relief lines relieve the pressure between the valves and the pump. They control where the fluid flows.
Functions of a hydraulic power pack
A hydraulic power pack supplies the hydraulic pressure to provide the motor of a hydraulic machine the power to run. A hydraulic power pack supplies the power for a machine to do some heavy lifting or a system that needs strong and directional power.
These standalone power systems differ greatly in size, depending on the machine they supply with power. The heavier and larger ones are often stationary. However, there are smaller and compact models that you can take with you.
